HSV Walkinshaw GroupA SS

This is the display of a very beautiiful limited edition car with only 750 built it's hard to find a clean one.

Released: May 1988

Status: HSV contract build homologation special for Holden Motor Sport.

Production: 500 initial build, 250 second build.
Final. Prod.: November 1988

Colours: Panorama Silver

Driveline: Special 180kW Group A twin throttle body EFI 4.9 V8, Borg Warner T5 5 speed manual.

Look for: Extrovert Group A body package, Group A seats, Momo steering wheel.

Specials: Plain wrapper Calais version.

Comments: Ahead of it's time, no longer so outrageous now that body kit is validated by race wins and world Group A status. No more Group A racing specials so collector status is assured. For HSV's debut, it was a top class effort. It's also a great drive.

Used price: $25000 - $30000
Prospects: (5 out of 5)
